About PBS: Planning and Building Services

Planning and Building Services is run by Barry Smith, who has over 30 years experience in the construction industry and Architectural design. Using the latest CAD software, planning and building regulation applications can be quickly and efficiently prepared for submission to your local authority.

Over 20 extensions and 10 new dwellings have been completed in the last two years in the local area using a select panel of builders, electricians, joiners and plumbers. Ranging from new houses to extensions no job is too small or too large.

Barry’s professional body is CIAT (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists) and he holds an indemnity by Norwich Union Insurance.

Planning & Building Services is based in Wrexham, and our work can be seen on numerous sites in the area. Most clients are recommended to Barry by past clients many of whom have become personal friends of Barry and his family.
